Automatic Crash Response
Using built-in vehicle sensors, Automatic Crash Response can connect a specially trained OnStar Advisor who is immediately connected into your vehicle to offer help if you’ve been involved in a crash. You’ll get help right away — even if you can’t ask for it. Advisors can notify first responders about your location and the likelihood of serious injuries using Injury Severity Prediction. OnStar Advisors are also trained and Emergency Medical Dispatcher–certified*to provide medical assistance until help arrives, ensuring you won’t face the emergency alone. Emergency Services
Priority connection to OnStar Emergency-Certified Advisors who can pinpoint your vehicle’s location, contact emergency service providers and offer critical assistance until they arrive. In an emergency, the last thing you want is to be alone. With OnStar Crisis Assist, when severe weather, a natural disaster or other crisis strikes, their Advisors are right there with you. Working with their first responder partners, they’ll assist you with information, special routing and a reassuring, human voice — they can even help you stay in touch with loved ones. Day or night, 24 hours a day, OnStar is there for you when you need us the most.
OnStar Guardian App
With the OnStar Guardian™ app, you and your loved ones can take key safety services anywhere — in or out of any vehicle. (U.S. and Canada only. Available on select Apple and Android devices. Mobile Crash Response services are intended for use in select vehicles only and can connect automatically on Android devices only. Service coverage varies with conditions and location.Service availability, features and functionality vary by device and software version. Roadside Assistance
Travel with confidence knowing an Advisor can send for help if you have a flat tire, need a tow or run out of gas. Roadside services provided by Allstate Roadside Services for vehicles only.
Stolen Vehicle Assistance
A Theft Alarm Notification* can inform you if your car alarm goes off. Once law enforcement confirms your vehicle has been stolen, OnStar Advisors can utilize GPS technology to help authorities locate your vehicle and, when conditions are appropriate, remotely slow it down.* With Remote Ignition Block,™* OnStar can also remotely prevent a thief from restarting your vehicle. If your vehicle is stolen, Advisors can work with law enforcement to help you get your vehicle back quicker and safer. Requires paid plan, working electrical system, cell reception, GPS signal, armed GM factory-installed theft-deterrent system, contact method on file and enrollment to receive alerts. Additional messaging and data rates may apply. Services are intended to assist with vehicle recovery and do not prevent theft or protect against damage or loss.
Turn-By-Turn Navigation
No matter where you are heading, getting directions is as easy as pushing a button. Requires paid plan and properly equipped vehicle. Mobile app functionality is available on select devices and requires data connection. Map coverage available in the U.S., Puerto Rico and Canada.
Remote Key Fob
Remotely lock and unlock your doors, flash the lights and honk the horn, or start and stop (if equipped) your car using your vehicle mobile app. Requires paid plan. Lock/unlock feature requires automatic locks. Remote start requires GM factory-installed and enabled remote start system
Voice Service
Connect to your vehicle using your home’s Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant home device. Lock and unlock your doors or start and stop your vehicle simply by asking Alexa or Google (if properly equipped). Service availability, features and functionality are subject to limitations and vary by vehicle, device, location and active service plan. Device data connection is required. Skill requires account linking to use. Unlock feature requires automatic locks. Remote start requires GM factory-installed and enabled remote start system. The Google Assistant is not available in certain languages and countries. Requires Internet connection. Vehicle Locate
Set boundary notifications, view your vehicle’s location on a map, and set and share custom notifications for arrivals and departures. U.S., Canada, and Mexico only. Requires select paid plan. Service is designed to locate compatible connected vehicles. Eligibility varies by vehicle model. Functionality varies by mobile device. Message and data rates may apply. Remote Personalization
Customize In-Vehicle Apps and preset radio stations using your vehicle mobile app. Available on select 2017 model year and newer vehicles with compatible hardware. Requires a paid Connected Services plan, mobile app, and a paid AT&T vehicle data plan. Mobile app is available on select Apple and Android devices. Device data connection required. Terms apply. On-Demand Diagnostics
When a warning light appears on your dashboard, push your blue OnStar button to have an Advisor run a report and pinpoint the issue. Diagnostic capabilities vary by model and plan. Message and data rates may apply. Requires contact method on file and enrollment to receive alerts. Not all issues will deliver alerts.
Alexa Built-In
Take the convenience of Amazon Alexa on the road with a fully embedded in-vehicle experience (if properly equipped). Functionality is subject to limitations and varies by vehicle, infotainment system, and location. Select service plan required. Certain Alexa Skills require account linking to use. In-Vehicle Streaming Apps
Access In-Vehicle Streaming Apps like Spotify, Audiobooks, The Weather Channel and more. Available on select 2017 model year and newer GM vehicles with compatible hardware. Third-party trademarks are the property of their respective third-party owners and used under agreement. Requires active service plan and paid AT&T vehicle data plan.
Connected Navigation
Get real-time traffic and point-of-interest updates within your vehicle’s navigation system (if equipped). Connected Navigation and Real-time Points of Interest (POI) only available on properly equipped vehicles. Requires paid plan or trial. Map coverage available in the U.S., Puerto Rico and Canada.
In-Vehicle Data
Get access to an available Wi-Fi® Hotspot that can connect up to seven devices. OnStar Data Plans offered by AT&T for OnStar Members: Session-based data plans provide you with access to AT&T wireless data services for your equipped-vehicle’s hotspot. Prices shown are for U.S. residents only. Eligible vehicle required. Plans: Prepaid session-based data plans include access to selected data allotment for 30 days (monthly plans), 24 hours or 12 months. Auto Renewal: Monthly plans auto renew every 30 days unless canceled; cancel anytime. To cancel, call 1.888.466.7827 or visit onstar.com. Other plans do not auto renew and are one-time prepaid plan purchases. Payments: Payments are nonrefundable. Plan charges are not prorated if you cancel prior to expiration of term. For monthly plans, charges are automatically billed to credit card on file on the 30-day mark each month prior to your next month’s term unless canceled. Data: Usage is calculated in full-kilobyte increments and rounded up to the next full-kilobyte increment.
